about

Various items are remarked upon and declared as having ought to be hit with a stick. The "hit it with a stick, son" gang vocal refrain recurs as a solid bassline grooves through the rhythm of a washing machine lid being popped.

Unfortunately, the co-optation of a rap aesthetic, at the time meant to be humorous, no longer land quite as well in retrospect. Regrettable lyrics and stylistic choices are a bit cringey and leave this track now removed for general listening. While we learn from things we used to think funny, and such things lead to growth (we hope), we need not leave them lying around on the internet.
